On June 23rd 2017, the professor Kent Oliver Burkey from North Carolina university, USDA agricultural research center ,was invited by our professor Yixia Cai ,who is from key experiment of south China tropical agricultural environment of ministry of agricultural department. He has made an excellent study report named “CO2 and O3 interactive effects on crops production and quality “in 105 Batian lecture hall in  Institute of resource and environment. Dr.Burkey mostly works for the influence of atmospheric pollution and climate changes to crops and natural plant research. During the report .Dr.Burkey started from raising the problem of research ,comparing with the current situation nowadays abroad and inland, stating the result of the researching team carefully. In the meanwhile ,basing on the research  that  already came up with, he put the research direction furtherer, the report that he made was rich in content. After this meeting, he aimed at answering  the questions asked by the teachers and students from SCAU in detail.

This meeting was hosted by professor Kunzheng  Cai, who is the head of ecosystem, the teachers and students took part in it actively in our institute the companions, Shengfu Xu, the associate professor who is from institute of applied ecology of Chinese academy  of sciences ,and Shuying Yang who is from Hunan agricultural university , they respectively did the reports named “  Ecophysiological response and adaptation of urban plants to climate change”,”The aromatic mechanism of local rice in China. Dr.Sheng Xu principally devotes in plants adverse physiological ecology studies under the conditions of global climate change ,specifically researching the area of the influence mechanism urban plants adverse physiology.Dr.Yang mostly works for the research of the physiology ecological mechanism of rice and the natural perfuming mechanism of rice and the landscape planning of modern ecological farm.
